Welcome to the FTI Online Tutorial. Here you can find information on each tool on the website. With the use of specific Examples on how to use the analysis pages to retrieve specific information.

Floor Targets Interactive (FTI) is a free web-based system for monitoring progress towards Public Service Agreement Floor Targets across Government. FTI enables users to examine performance at the national, regional and local levels.

What’s New on FTI?

If you have used FTI before you will find the new site works in a different way than previously. Along with the pre-existing analysis tools, you can now also find:

Gap Analysis

Allows user to select an indicator for 2 places, showing the absolute gap between these at given timepoint(s)

Ranking Histogram

Ranks all local authority districts for a chosen indicator, in ascending/descending order, identifying NRF and non-NRF areas. Ability to highlight one selected LA, where it lies within the ranking

Sub-district data

Previously, data on FTI was only available at local authority level. Where available, you can now find Super Output Area level data

Log In

The ability to save analysis pages for a specific set of indicators and geographical areas each time you log in. Your details will also be used to keep you informed on FTI news and updates. In addition to this, FTI is more of an interactive and user-friendly experience.

To Start the tutorial click on the top link on the left of this slide. Alternatively if you are looking for a specific topic you can choose from the list. Once the slide has loaded you can use the 'next' and 'back' buttons located in the bottom right of the slide to navigate.
